Georgia is 73rd in FIFA - Coca-cola ranking

Georgian national team has finished 2011 at 73rd position on FIFA - Coca-cola ranking and is one step ahead of Albania against which it plays friendly game on February 29, 2012.

 

Temuri Ketsbaia’s team is ranked 36th out of 53 European nations and is 7th out of 15 former USSR Republics being behind Russia (12), Armenia (46), Ukraine (55), Estonia (57), Belarus (64) and Latvia (68).

 

The first spot is still occupied by Spain followed by Netherlands and German national teams.

Georgia finished the first in UEFA Futsal EURO 2014 preliminary round Group B after Moldova was unable to win Malta with big scores difference. Georgia advanced to the next stage of the Championship for the first time and will be joined in the main round by England, Greece, Montenegro, Norway and Sweden.
