Georgian national team has finished 2011 at 73^rd position on FIFA - Coca-cola ranking and is one step ahead of Albania against which it plays friendly game on February 29, 2012.

Temuri Ketsbaia’s team is ranked 36^th out of 53 European nations and is 7^th out of 15 former USSR Republics being behind Russia (12), Armenia (46), Ukraine (55), Estonia (57), Belarus (64) and Latvia (68).

The first spot is still occupied by Spain followed by Netherlands and German national teams.
