31st October, Antalya (MSY) --- XXXV CEV (The European Volleyball Confederation) General Assembly held on 25th of October, 2014 in Antalya (Turkey). 48 national federations and 55 CEV members attended the event in Turkey's most popular holiday destination, among them Georgia's delegation headed by Mr. Irakli Chachua, President of Georgian Volleyball Federation and Mr. Andria Lezhava, Head of International Relations Service.
Apart from the annual reports of Commissions, Zonal Associations, the CEV President Mr. André Meyer announced the organizers of various European Championships on schedule for 2016-2017, among them the host countries of 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championships. For the first time in history Georgia (Tbilisi) and Azerbaijan (Baku and Guba) will host Europe's flagship tournament.
