Manuchar Tskhadaia was a favorite for the gold medal on the Games. He wrestled in G/R category -66kg with 4 sportsmen. Tskhadaia won 3 battles and lost in Semi-final with Tomas Lorints (Hungary).
Georgian wrestler easily got victories in battles with Frank Shtebler (Germany), Pascal Shtrebels (Austria) and Ashraf Mohhamed Elgharabi (Egypt).
Manuchar Tskhadaia’s broze is the 3rd medal for Georgian Olympic Delegation. There are one gold medal in Judo (Lasha Shavdatuashvili) and one silver medal in G/R wrestling (Revaz Lashkhi).
