One of the priorities of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia is to develop and intensify the cooperation with local non-governmental organizations (NGOs). In order to improve communication with NGOs working in the field of youth affairs the Ministry has created a database, which will serve as a tool for exchange of information. Once an NGO registers in the database, it will receive information via SMS and e-mail about the current and planned activities of the Ministry, sponsorship and grant opportunities as well as invitations to participate in different events (workshops, conferences, presentation, etc.). Registered NGOs could very easily contact relevant unit of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgian, comment, express their opinions and thoughts regarding the states' youth policy and other related issues.
On the other hand, the database provides an opportunity for mapping NGOs working in the field of youth affairs. Through this program, it becomes more efficient to implement and deliver youth-oriented programs to the beneficiaries.
The database is available only in Georgian language. For more information visit: NGOs database (available only in Georgian language)
